Motor City Track Club Finds Success At AAU XC Nationals

The AAu Cross Country Championship was held this week in Orlando, Florida.
The MOtor City Track Club repeated as ten and under national champs in the
boys division. The team was led by brothers Menachem , Shaka, and Ramses
Dukes. They went 1, 2, and 4 in the race, becoming All Americans in the
process. Menachem winning time was 10:26 for the 3000 meter course. The ten
and under girls division place third overall. They received the bronze medal
for their great efforts. They were led by Danzel Bradshaw, Jessica Rux, Jade
Jackson, Shariece and Shaniece Pinkston. In the 11 to 12 boys division Ryan
Darling became an All American by placing seventh overall. The 11 to 12 year
old boys placed seventh overall. Rebecca Smeltzer placed 10th overall, two
places from being an All American.All
the runners from the Motor City club ran well.
